National Instruments announced the company's first data acquisition (DAQ) modules with integrated signal conditioning for scalable, high-performance measurements on PXI Express. The new NI SC Express family delivers increased accuracy, high data throughput and best-in-class synchronisation for measuring strain gauges, bridge-based transducers, thermocouples and high-voltage analogue inputs. PXI Express provides 250 MB/s of dedicated bandwidth for each SC Express module in the chassis, which helps engineers increase channel count without compromising sampling rates or data throughput. Software adds new functionality to high-speed data-acquisition system

Measurement Computing introduces Message-Based DAQ protocol
Measurement Computing has announced the release of two new data acquisition products featuring a new O/S-independent protocol that allows DAQ devices to be programmed with simple text-based messages. A new 7000 series product line, which includes the USB-7202 and USB-7204 boards, combines small form-factor, bus-powered USB hardware, and a light and agile software framework that can be ported to multiple operating systems. The software framework, a core technology to the series, is called Message-Based DAQ (MBD).

National Instruments - USB Device and Sensor Suite for Sound and Vibration Applications
National Instruments has announced a new portable bus-powered dynamic signal acquisition (DSA) module and a suite of vibration sensors that are ideal for making high-accuracy vibration measurements required for noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) and machine condition monitoring applications.
