Industrial TFT Range Mechanically Compatible with AMOLED Displays
Densitron has introduced a new series of industrial TFT displays which is mechanically compatible with and boasts performance akin to Active Matrix OLED (AMOLED) displays. Displays in the new range have slim profile and come in 2.4", 2.8" and 4.3". They offer 800:1 high contrast ratio and long-term availability guarantee. Fringe Field Switching (FFS) technology is utilized by the displays to create up to 170° wide viewing angles in both horizontal and vertical directions.
30.7cm wide-TFT with LED backlight and MVA technology from CMI
The G121I1-L01 from CHIMEI-Innolux (CMI, former CMO) will convince you with its outstanding features and is ideal for industrial applications. The display with a WXGA resolution (1,280x800 dots) has a contrast ratio of 1,200:1 with a brightness of 400nits and a LVDS interface. The module has an outline size of 278x184x8mm and a LED converter is already on board.

New OLED Displays Offer Substantial Cost Savings
Users of Passive Matrix OLED (PMOLED) know that both low and high voltage supplies are required to power up a PMOLED. Whilst high voltage can be created using a low voltage supply together with a number of external components, for example, DC/DC converter chip, capacitor, inductor and sometimes resistor, all these additional parts can increase costs. To address this issue, Densitron has launched a new range of PMOLED displays, which includes DD-2864BY-3A (0.96"), DD-12864WE-4A (0.96"), and DD-9616BE-2A (0.84"), that comes with in-built DC/DC charge pumps. The displays are ideal for low power handheld devices and high-end industrial applications. With the new embedded feature, only a single low voltage supply (3.3V-4.2V) and three add-on capacitors are required to power up each display, bringing up to 90% savings on the costs associated with external components normally required for a PMOLED.
