Strategic relationship with Eltek Valere supports global development and manufacture of power products for telecoms markets

Eltek Valere, the specialist in energy systems for industrial and telecommunication applications, has confirmed Arrow as a strategic supplier of the electronic technologies used across its full range of telecom power products. Under the terms of its agreement with Eltek Valere, Arrow provides products and tailored supply chain support for the power specialist on a worldwide basis.

The relationship between Eltek Valere and Arrow began in Norway over twenty years ago. Since then it has grown to encompass the supply of semiconductors, passive components, interconnection products and a variety of other technologies including high end and proprietary parts. These products are used in the global development and manufacture of Eltek Valere products ranging from rectifiers and converters to control and monitoring modules. In addition to offering a broad linecard of products, a key aspect in Arrow achieving strategic supplier status has been its ability to tailor supply chain solutions that meet Eltek Valere’s demanding requirements for high levels of logistic support at development and manufacturing facilities around the world.

Sukhman Grewal, Eltek Valere’s corporate outsourcing director, states: “Components from Arrow are used in all of our core products for supplying power to critical telecom equipment, and our demanding customers make us a demanding partner for our suppliers. As well as the broad linecard, what makes Arrow a valued supplier is the service and logistics support that they are able to provide – especially when we experience increase in demands or shortages of components in the market.”

Eltek Valere’s R&D headquarters are still in Norway and Arrow Norway continues to play a key role in the relationship.
