Azure has announced the medical grade Mobile Medical PC, Leo-1500. This mobile, modular and fully customizable intelligent interactive terminal provides endless possibilities for healthcare, entertainment and all interactive information environments. AZURE's Leo-1500 display panel is spill & dust resistant and complying with EN60601-1 and UL60601-1 for power leakage and electronic emission approvals. It comes with a 15" touch screen for easy control of applications, and it's based on Core 2 Duo processor which allows you to have the most powerful computing capability.

Leo-1500 has a 15” 350cd/m2 TFT color LCD (contrast ratio 500 : 1) with 1024 x 768 resolution. The brightness, resolution, and contrast ratio are designed to fulfill the DICOM (Digital Image and Communication) requirement. It also comes with options of one 2.5” SATA II hard disk drive or a uSB DOM (up to 8GB) and up to 4GB DDR2 SDRAM. In addition, Leo-1500 provides rich I/O’s, such as a DVI port to prevent video signal distortion, one Mini-card, four isolated serial ports and four USB 2.0 hub, for peripheral expansion, seven programmable function keys and one emergency key for user-friendly operation, plus 7200Ah Li-battery pack for mobile application and power back-up feature. In case of power failure, the long-life battery allows the system to function normally as well as to send message to Medical Monitoring Center. Each unit also comes with LED indications on both front and rear covers for easy integration with hospital emergency call system.

In clinical station, the most important consideration is to get the electronic medical records (EMRs) quickly and accurately. Leo-1500 is wirelessly connected and with Smart Card Reader, allowing healthcare professionals to access real-time patient records, medication schedules, radiological images, physician orders whether at patient’s bedside, dispensing room, emergency room or operation room. The result is a safer, more efficient, “paperless and film-free” medical care system.

For enhancing healthcare quality and interactive communication, Leo-1500 is also equipped with 2 Million CMOS camera as well as built-in speaker and microphone.
