Eurotech Ltd's DuraCOR 1000 series of products are an ideal solution for applications ranging from advanced video capture and compression using MPEG4 and JPEG-2000, to precise communication and geo-centric applications utilising GPS and GSM/GPRS (UMTS). Additional functionality of the units includes Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet controllers, and hi-speed USB 2.0 ports capable of powering the connected devices.

DuraCOR is designed as a modular system available in multiple configurations ideal for deployment in transportation and automotive applications. Standard configurations include platforms targeted at Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL), Digital Video Recorder (DVR) and Vehicular Data Server (VDS) applications.

Made with a small, light and resistant extruded aluminium enclosure they are EN 50155 compliant and are designed to resist harsh environmental conditions. They can withstand extended temperature ranges of between -25°C to +55°C without cooling fans and can resist mechanical shock, vibration and high levels of humidity.

A key feature of the DuraCOR family is low power consumption when compared to similar devices currently on the market.

The systems are provided with advanced auto-diagnosis features and can be provided with a remote status monitor with pre-alarm features that can send alert messages via SMS, improving security when using these devices in remote environments.
