Protek Power North America announces the PUP180 Series of CEC and Energy Star Compliant AC/DC desktop power supplies, which provide an industry leading 180W of power.

Lightweight and in a compact 6.69 x 3.35 x 1.60in convection cooled package, the PUP180 is ideal for today’s high powered applications such as monitors, computers, networking equipment, test equipment, printers and more. The PUP180 Series specifies a power factor corrected universal input and single output models.

Comprehensive protection circuitry including overvoltage, short circuit, and thermal protection is standard. Units draw less than 0.5W of power at no load and achieve average efficiencies of 85% to 87%. The supplies are UL/CSA/TUV safety certified to worldwide EN60950-1 standards, are CE Marked, and are compliant with RoHS requirements.
