High-output supplies provide up to 2.4kW

HiTek Power's TEK HP series of single output, low-voltage, switch-mode power supplies are specifically aimed at industrial applications. The two members of the family offer output power up to 2.0 or 2.4kW and offer a choice of nine programmable output voltages ranging from 9 to 60V.

Regulation is better than 1 percent and ripple is 1 percent for all outputs. The supplies can operate in redundant and N+1 configurations. A single-wire current share feature ensures that when the supplies are connected in parallel, the individual units share the output current to within ±10 percent of each other.

Measuring 212 x 126 x 320mm , the TEK HP supplies offer power densities of 0.27W/cm3 for the 2.4kW unit and 0.22W/cm3 for the 2kW variant They offer over-current, over-voltage, short-circuit and over-temperature protection, a power failure signal and remote on/off. They accept an input between 90 and 260V and have a typical active power factor correction to 0.98.

They are typically priced at less than £475 or £575(2.4kW) each in quantities of 100 or more.
