RoHS compliant right-angle Tact switch

knitter-switch announces a new right-angle tact switch series designed for a wide variety of applications where a reliable, low cost switch is required. The series TSSE 6xx-RA is washable to IP46 and features a lifetime of 500,000 cycles. It is RoHS compliant and leadfree solderable to 255ºC ±5ºC for a maximum of 10s.

The new switch provides the user with a sharp “click” feeling in operation and is available in two operating forces – 1.8 and 2.6N as well as four different stem heights – 0.8, 1.0, 2.35 and 3.3mm. It is available with support terminals.

The TSSE 6xx-RA features a contact rating of 12VDC @ 50mA, a maximum contact resistance of 100mO, a minimum insulation resistance of 100MO and a dielectric strength of 250VAC for one minute.

Typical applications include washing machines, dishwashers and copiers.
