16-Bit, 40 and 80-MSPS data converters from Texas Instruments with highest signal-to-noise ratio

Texas Instruments has introduced a family of 16-bit, single channel, 40- and 80-MSPS analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) which provide the highest signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) with very low power consumption. The devices' low noise floor improves accuracy in test and measurement, receiver sensitivity in wireless communications, and image quality in medical, industrial and military applications.

Analog Devices’ High Performance Output Drivers said to Increase Efficiency Of Industrial And Process Control Systems

Analog Devices has introduced two analog output drivers that are said to significantly improve the efficiency and reliability of process control applications, including those operating with high compliance voltages and temperatures. Using technological advancements enabled by ADI's iCMOS industrial process technology, the AD5750 and AD5751 output drivers achieve a three-fold improvement in accuracy over competing solutions, providing an accuracy level of 0.1 percent TUE (total unadjusted error) under all operating conditions.

KEMET expands its HiCV and large case size SMD Multilayer Ceramic Capacitor ranges

Kemet has announced a range expansion for its EIA 1812 and EIA 1210 case size Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs). The EIA 1812 range extension includes 4.7µF, 50V devices plus 6uF and 10µF 25V rated parts. The EIA 1210 extensions cover the same capacitance and voltage values but in a smaller package for applications where space is restricted.

Renesas Technology Releases Microcontrollers with 1 Mbyte On-Chip SRAM for Digital Audio and Graphical Dashboard Applications

Renesas Technology Corp has announced a total of eight new product versions of the SH7262 and SH7264 high-performance 32-bit microcontrollers with 1 Mbyte of on-chip SRAM for digital audio and graphical dashboard applications. Sample shipments will begin in August 2008 in Japan.
